    What is the CBT Exam?

To sit for the CBT exam, you must hold a Nursing Diploma/Degree, have a valid Nursing license, and clear the OET.

The CBT consists of 120 multiple-choice questions covering both generic and specialized nursing competencies. The exam evaluates your theoretical knowledge and practical preparedness. It is conducted at Pearson VUE Test Centers worldwide. If you don’t pass the first attempt, you must wait 28 working days to retake the test. Pass Mark and Test Format

The test consists of 120 multiple-choice questions that must be completed within 4 hours. The first part consists of numeracy questions and the second part of the examination is the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), which evaluates practical knowledge. Candidates must pass both parts of the test to qualify as registered nurses.

To pass the critical question section of the exam, you’ll need to correctly answer 90% of the questions. A good score is key to reaching your goal of becoming a registered nurse. Once you’ve completed the CBT, you’ll be asked to provide feedback about your testing experience. The test administrator will collect any erasable noteboards and escort you out of the testing room. Your results will be emailed to the address you provided during booking. The Computer-Based Test is often preferred by candidates who feel their handwriting is a concern, as it eliminates issues with handwriting, spelling, and clarity.
